Today was the Westmarc Annual Meeting and Economic Forecast. Elliott Pollack, economist (and funny), was the featured speaker.
According to Pollack, by the year 2020, 44 percent of the population of the Valley will reside in the West Valley. Cities such as Goodyear, Avondale, Buckeye, and Surprise all have room to grow and are expected to flourish in the coming years.
Pollack also predicted that while growth will slow in 2007, we will continue to see a boom in the West Valley. He also pointed out that the worse things get in the current housing market the sooner they will recover.
