While the median home price of $260,000 remained the same, according to Realty Studies at Arizona State University, January housings sales were the lowest January sales numbers since 2003. January 2006 sales were 5,300 contrasted with this year's January sales of approximately 4,500 in the metropolitan Phoenix market.
January typically represents a slow sales month. The next few months should reveal if an increase in home listings is met with a corresponding increase of home sales.
I can really understand what you are saying. I don't have the statistics in front of me for the San Diego area but it is much the same. I recently discovered a marketing tool that has helped me out a lot in this crazy market.
www.SmartStreets.net
is a company that designs custom showcase websites dedicated to a single property for sale. It is reasonably priced and from personal experience I can tell you it works. I have had 3 properties in the past 3 months that have gone into escrow and the buyer specifically mentioned that they were attracted to the properties website. Give them a try. I think they were having a free trial for one listing. Good luck, I am sure things will pick up over the next few months.

Interesting service. I provide a similar service for my clients. It only costs $26 and I have been successfuly doing it for the past 3 years. I like my service because it is cost effective and gives stats directly to the seller. Can't be beat.
